Article in East Anglian Daily Times – How Rebecca found her own dream home…

Absolutely thrilled with this fabulous article in the East Anglian Daily Times by the lovely Rebecca MacNaughton, following my chance discovery of an old article promoting the sale of our (now) house, Moat Farm, in a rather crumpled copy of the East Anglian Daily Times from 1999. I hadn’t even seen it before, but my mum had saved it and stashed away in her loft!

What a lovely surprise to find the old copy of the original article for a start, but an even lovelier surprise that my chance find prompted Rebecca’s feature (a double page spread, no less!) on how we finally managed to get the very dilapidated 500 year old farmhouse, how we spent years restoring it and giving it new life and how I have since made it my mission to help other property searchers to find their dream home in our beautiful East Anglia – Suffolk and Norfolk…

A property expert who bought her dream home in the Suffolk countryside over 20 years ago is now helping others to do the same.

A chance find that brought back a lifetime of happy memories

Finding the old article in the East Anglian was a genuinely unexpected, and rather emotional reminder of how truly lucky we were to find our amazing property, and what a lot of work and love we have put into making it the happy family home we have now!

I don’t think we really appreciated the rarity of our find at the time.  I have been asked for similar homes over the last 15 years and they really are the proverbial hen’s teeth!

We have brought up three children here and made so many great memories over the years and it’s been an absolute privilege to be able to help other property searchers over the years to be able to do the same.
