Out previewing houses yesterday and had to stop to take some pictures in the picture-postcard village of #finchingfield. This beautiful North Essex village centres on a lovely green and pond surrounded by medieval and Georgian properties. Some of the older buildings had such beautifully maintained pargetting in the moulded into the old plaster. I have certainly made this lovely couple very happy who managed to secure this special house ‘off market’. It was also thanks to their faith in me, their commitment and understanding of the rarity of finding exactly what they wanted that helped secure this house. As always it was team work and good communication from the beginning between myself, my clients, Savills @primesuffolkproperty @rebeccaregispropertysearch @Jamesaldridge surveyors, @farnfields solicitors Yesterday was a good day…handing over the keys of this wonderful rural escape with 360 views of Suffolk hills. (Yes there are a few) The house was so welcoming as the vendor handed the house over immaculately clean, freshly cut lawn, labelled keys and printed house information pack. There were even a few freshly chopped logs by the fire and homemade flapjacks. These little touches make such a difference to a new start. This has been such a smooth purchase as communication was great on both sides and the seller had prepared all the relevant paperwork in advance of selling so enquiries could be effectively responded to swiftly.
